Since the company’s inception in Fall of 2007, SailProud Apparel has been working tirelessly to create clothing and a community that fosters passion and pride throughout the sailing world. Our focus also means serious efforts to protect the fragile playgrounds in which sailors exist - the natural ecosystems and wildlife of coastal and offshore marine communities.

SailProud has created a proprietary technical and lifestyle fabrics sourced from post-consumer recycled materials - taking thousands of pounds of plastic and chemicals out of landfills, and breathing new life into them as a luxurious, protective layers for sailors, surfers, kayakers, and yachtsmen around the world.
